GTCC CULINARY KICKS OFF THANKSGIVING PIE SALE

Thanksgiving pieJAMESTOWN, N.C. — This Thanksgiving bring home a freshly-baked pie made by Guilford Technical Community College’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management students. Varieties include pumpkin, apple and pecan pie. The annual sale is a much-anticipated campus and community tradition, generating hundreds of pie sales each year.

The deadline to place an order is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16. All pies are 9 inches and cost $9 each. All proceeds from the sale will support the Culinary and Hospitality Club, SkillsUSA participants and the Culinary Knowledge Bowl Team.

All orders require payment in advance. Please make checks payable to GTCC Culinary and Hospitality Club.

Pies can be picked up between noon and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 at the Joseph S. Koury Hospitality Careers Center, second floor dining room (HM261), GTCC’s Jamestown Campus, 601 E. Main St., Jamestown. Pies that are not picked up will be donated to charity.
