GTCC MUSIC ENSEMBLE TO PRESENT SPRING CONCERT APRIL 23

JAMESTOWN, N.C. — The Guilford Technical Community College Music Ensemble will present its spring concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 23 in the Entertainment Technology auditorium on the High Point Campus, 901 S. Main Street. The event is free and open to the public.

The ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Mark Wheeler, music program coordinator at GTCC, and will feature a variety of songs, including selections by Etta James, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, The Band Perry, Miranda Lambert, Jeff Buckley, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Janet Jackson and Paramore.

The 16-member ensemble consists of music majors and Entertainment Technology students who present up to three programs each academic year to showcase their talents.
