GREENSBORO, NC — Business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to attend a series of workshops designed to improve their web presence. Let’s Put Our Cities on the Map is an initiative to help local businesses increase their presence online. Google is working with business owners, city officials, and small business partners to spread the word about the importance of getting local business information on Google Search and Maps.
The first workshop, Get Found on Google Search and Maps, is 10 a.m.-11 a.m. March 10 at the Guilford Technical Community College Small Business Center/Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship, 1451 S. Elm-Eugene St., Greensboro.
There will be additional workshops to follow including: Build Your Own Free Website on March 24; Grow Your Business Online on April 14; and Set Goals With Analytics on April 28.
These workshops are sponsored by the GTCC Small Business Center, the Greensboro Public Library, City of Greensboro Economic Development & Business Services Department, the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, Greensboro Partnership Entrepreneur Connection, East Market Street Development, UNCG North Carolina Entrepreneurship Center and N.C. A&T University.
