Meet top employers in the Triad and explore aviation careers

JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Launch the career of your dreams on Thursday, April 7 during GTCC’s Aviation Career Fair and Open House.

The Aviation Career Fair will be held 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Aviation Center II, 819 Radar Road, Greensboro. It will feature Triad local employers from the aviation, aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries. Participating companies include HAECO, Honda Aircraft Company and PSA Airlines.

Later that evening, GTCC will host an Aviation Campus Open House 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at Aviation II and Aviation Center III. The campus will highlight a variety of exhibits, hands-on demonstrations (including flight simulators) and information sessions on admissions, financial aid and more. Visitors also will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff, tour GTCC aviation facilities and learn more about the aviation program.

GTCC offers four associate degree programs in aviation: Avionics Technology, Aviation Management, Career Pilot and Aviation Systems Technology as well as a number of certificate programs. In addition, the college offers a variety of training opportunities through its National Aviation Consortium program, which prepares individuals for careers in the aerospace manufacturing industry.

Both events are free and open to the public.
