JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Launch the career of your dreams on Thursday, April 23 during GTCC’s Aviation Job Fair and Open House.

The Aviation Job Fair will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Aviation Center II, 819 Radar Road, Greensboro. It will feature Triad local employers from the aviation, aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries. Participating companies include Aircraft Intelligence, HAECO, Honda Aircraft Company, HQ Aero Management, Inc., U.S. Marine Corps, NCWorks Career Center, Piedmont Aviation, The Forge and Triumph Actuation Systems.

Later that evening, GTCC will host an Aviation Campus Open House 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. at Aviation Center III, 1053 Old Stage Coach Trail, Greensboro. The campus will highlight a variety of exhibits, hands-on demonstrations and information sessions on admissions, financial aid and more. Visitors also will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff, tour all three GTCC aviation facilities and learn more about the aviation program.

GTCC offers four associate degree programs in aviation: Avionics Technology, Aviation Management, Career Pilot and Aviation Systems Technology as well as a number of certificate programs. In addition, the college offers a variety of training opportunities through its National Aviation Consortium program, which individuals for careers in the aerospace manufacturing industry.

Both events are free and open to the public.
